“Until the philosophy which holds one race superior and another inferior is finally and permanently discredited and abandoned — everywhere is war.”
Bob Marley, inspired by Haile Selassie I

By Tita Eric, TitaPost

Decades have passed since Bob Marley gave voice to the world’s unending cry for peace. His song “War”, rooted in Emperor Haile Selassie’s defiant words, still echoes through generations because the injustices he sang of remain heartbreakingly alive.

Today, from the trenches of Eastern Europe to the bombed streets of Gaza, from Sudan’s burning villages to Iran’s stifled protests, the drums of war drown out the whispers of hope. The question is not whether the world is on fire — but whether we, the witnesses, have the courage to put it out.

🇺🇦 Ukraine: A Nation Held Hostage

Once a breadbasket of Europe, Ukraine now counts its seasons by missile strikes and refugee convoys. As world powers posture and profit, ordinary families mourn. Negotiations falter; artillery does not.

🇵🇸 Palestine: Children of Endless Night

In Palestine, a generation grows up knowing more about airstrikes than playgrounds. Political stalemates fuel cycles of violence that bury hope alongside the innocent.

🇮🇷 Iran: Dreams Behind Barriers

While nuclear headlines dominate, millions in Iran yearn simply for freedom and dignity. Their struggle is a reminder that repression at home is as destructive as threats abroad.

🇸🇩 Sudan: Africa’s Silent Tragedy

Sudan bleeds in the shadows of global headlines. Civilians starve, aid convoys stall, and militias rule where governance fails. Forgotten by many, they endure anyway.

📢 A Plea to the Powerful

TitaPost joins the voices, ancient and new, that plead: Stop making war a tool of diplomacy. Stop mortgaging children’s futures for political gain. Stop counting innocent deaths as acceptable losses.

Replace drones with dialogue. Let compassion triumph over conquest. Dare to see life as sacred, not expendable.

Until the Philosophy Changes

  • Until the belief that one people’s suffering is tolerable while another’s is intolerable is rejected, there will be war.

  • Until profit is no longer reason enough for conflict, there will be war.

  • Until world leaders listen to mothers’ cries in Kyiv, Gaza, Khartoum, and Tehran — there will be war.

Bob Marley sang it. Haile Selassie proclaimed it. We must demand it.
